Test topic...

Well i tought that since some on the forum maybe waits to post before they have a good render.... well this topic is for posting test, maybe you place a metal ball in a pool and render that, then upload it and post it on this topic

Have you bought a new desktop computer? What hardware does it have?

I'm thinking to buy one too with 4 cores. I've seen people that have bought a motherboard with two sockets for a 4 cores microprocessor and in this way they have an eight cores desktop computer...But this could be another thread.

Related to this thread: do you have in mind uploading scenes or only images as if we were talking about Work In Process thread?

Well the computer isnt new, but i was curently on my laptop.
The desktop does have 2 gb ram, Q6600(quad) 2.4 ghz and nVidia 9800 GTX
I'm quite happy with it
Well for this topic, i was thinking images scenes are welcome aswell. But it's not quite w.i.p cause this would be simple test, if you try to render a good sss material, then post it here... if you just make something when your bored post it here. And so on
