Nice render project Pjetrus.
The vegetation looks really convincing.
Next thing to do ,imo, will be improving some of the textures, mainly those of the ground section and woods.

I like it so far, keep it up as I am sure the final can look really great!

@mr-megot,
Good suggestion, although I was thinking to keep the number of sections in the forum limited at first, to have things simple and clean (just added a material depository section).
In the end, a WIP thread evolves to a final image, right? Smile
Maybe we can split the gallery section in a 'final' and 'wip' section later on. Sounds good?

Yes the vegetations looks good, particularly the tree at the bottom

Did you made a version of this scene with Maxwell? I think I remember some similar project in their forum. If so, could you show it too when this one is finished?

The tree in the back looks great! The textures still need something else.

Irregularity and imperfections are the basics for achieve a real result. These could be applied to the ground and borders of the ground. little rocks...Little stones...Little and caotic irregularities and which are typical although this can be a new project. Maybe a really complex mesh for the ground and with the "soft select" and with a displace map for a micro-details (blame it on the antialiasing). You could add some kind of dirty to the ground. It's in first plane and people could look only to the ground at first plane so be careful not lose conectration of what really matters: the builindg.

Although by now this is going very well.

hehe, no i didn't.. You saw that pict on maxwell render gallery, it is a work done by luca bucci. I used it as a inspiration...

Aplly a ground texture, cause my atetion goes to the ground, after looking at the very bright spots on the wall... and some more bump, cause it looks to flat atm Smile
