Several warnings while exporting the scene from 3DSMAX plug-in...

Post  jorari71 on Wed Oct 08, 2008 1:38 am

Hi!.

When I export my scene in order to render with Fryrender plug-in, a box window with several "warning" messages appears related to the lack coordinates or material...

My question is: Does it affect to the efficiency or to the quality of the rest of the scene?

My own answer is: It's only a warning and this is to depurate the coordinates forgotten...

What do you think about this simple "issue"?

Regards.

Hi,

Does it affect to the efficiency or to the quality of the rest of the scene?

No, not at all.

Usual you get a warning if you've e.g. forgotten to set a camera. So fryrender will force you to do so, in order to render the scene.

If some objects don't have coordinates or materials, default ones will be applied in order to "understand" the scene instead of simply leave them out.
It's more like a hint. Maybe you left it out because you forgot about it.
fryrender will care to set it up in the right way, so it is able to render it.
If not it will call you to do so.

But sure, the way the object looks like with default setting applied, might not be the one you intended.
But it does not effect the quality or speed at all.

My own answer is: It's only a warning and this is to depurate the coordinates forgotten...
Yepp, only a reminder.
